Jim Coleman (journalist)

James A. "Jim" Coleman (October 30, 1911 – January 14, 2001), was a Canadian sports journalist. A nationally syndicated columnist for the Southam Newspapers (later known as CanWest News Service), he won the Elmer Ferguson Memorial Award in 1984 and is a member of the media section of the Hockey Hall of Fame.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Legends of Hockey - Elmer Ferguson Memorial Award Winners )〕 He also wrote for the ''Winnipeg Tribune'', ''Edmonton Bulletin'', and ''Globe and Mail''. His column was syndicated in 1950.
